They have an expected lifespan of between 400 - 1000 uses and come with attached hinged lids, so there's no need for tape. When the boxes are not in use, they easily stack inside each other and on top of one another when loaded.

At the end of the boxes' lifecycles, they will be sent to be recycled - effectively completing the process of recycling.
